Bruce Broxterman worked for Richards Industries from 1980 to 1998 moving from Inside Sales Correspondent through the ranks to Executive Vice President of Sales as well as President of International Sales. He returned to Richards Industries in 2005 when he was appointed President. Bruce received a Liberal Arts Degree from Kenyon College and has an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU). In 2007, Bruce was part of the 4-person management team that purchased Richards Industries from Gilbert Richards.
Jason Cooper has been a part of the Richards Industries team since 1996. After working as the Accounting Department Manager for several years, Jason became Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Accounting and MIS in 2000. He earned his degree in Accounting from the University of Kentucky. He went on to earn a MBA from Xavier University. In 2007, Jason was part of the 4-person management team that purchased Richards Industries from Gilbert Richards.
Bill Metz joined the Richards Industries' management team as Vice President of Operations in 2006. He has over 30 years of experience in the industrial valve manufacturing arena in a variety of leadership roles including: Sales, Marketing, Engineering and Operations. Bill earned his Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and his Masters of Business Administration in Marketing from Xavier University. In 2007, Bill was part of a 4-person management team that purchased Richards Industries from Gilbert Richards.
Under Bill’s leadership, Richards Industries has sustained and expanded on its commitment to Lean and Continuous Improvement in all areas of the organization. In June of 2015, Richards took another Continuous Improvement step by installing Machine Data Collection throughout manufacturing and is now moving forward with Order Data Management in all areas.
Charles holds a B.S. from Miami University and an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University. A former USMC Tank Officer (Gulf War veteran), he was initially hired at Richards Industries in 1996 as a Castings & Barstock Buyer. In his first decade with Richards he held the positions of Purchasing Manager, Materials Manager and Vice President, Materials before transitioning to the sales side of the business in 2005. Charles is one of the company share-holders and currently heads the corporate business development efforts for Richards Industries.
Cheryl Neiheisel, Vice President of Human Resources at Richards Industries, is an accomplished HR professional with over 20 years experience in Manufacturing and Healthcare industries. She joined Richards Industries in 1997. Cheryl is responsible for implementing human resource management strategies that enable Richards Industries to recruit, train, and retain a high performing and motivated workforce. Cheryl specializes in providing guidance and leadership to senior managers, benefits administration, employee relations, payroll, recruiting, and wellness. Cheryl holds a BA in Communication Arts from the University of Cincinnati and a Master’s in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix. Cheryl has been the Employer Chair for the PCW Advanced Manufacturing Industry Partnership Team and a member of the Partners for a Competitive Workforce Partners Council. Cheryl likes running, travel, and deep sea fishing. She lives with her husband, Scott, and her two babies (dogs), Goose and Eddy Fizz!
