Richards Industries is a proud and active member of the Valve Manufacturers Association. We recently sent 4 employees to Savannah, GA to attend the Valve Industry Knowledge Forum – Manufacturing Track.
Team members in manufacturing and engineering were sent to the three day event to understand how to battle complacency in three areas: Safety, Customer Focus and Technology. The tracks covered topics such as “Smart Factories”, how to keep safety and customer services foremost in your employee’s mind on a day-to-day basis, and the ramifications of being complacent on the job regarding safety….even for a moment.
The event ended with a demonstration on additive manufacturing of valve components, panel discussions, and the presentation of case studies.
