The giant Red Cross bus arrived early this morning at Richards Industries and employees began entering the bus one at a time. The reasons why each person donates blood varies, but they have all come to the bus in order to donate a pint of their blood for someone else.
The blood drive is put on in partnership with the Red Cross and Richards Industries. Every day, 300 blood donors and 40 platelet donors are needed to help save lives in our local community. “We think it is so important to give back to the community, and I can’t think of a better way” said Cheryl Neiheisel, V.P. Human Resources.
